Directory Terms & Conditions
Effective August 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Where in Vietnam Directory (“Directory”) hosted at www.whereinvietnam.com. By submitting a free listing, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Directory, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Directory is open to businesses, individuals, and service providers operating in or offering services relevant to Vietnam. Listings must be relevant, accurate, and fall within our approved category scope (e.g., F&B, wellness, travel, retail, professional services, arts & culture, etc.).
We reserve the right to refuse or remove any listing that we deem inappropriate, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.
2. Listing Content
When submitting a profile, you agree that:
- All information provided is accurate, current, and truthful.
- You have permission to use any images, logos, or branding included in your listing.
- Your listing does not contain harmful, illegal, or discriminatory content. No naming and shaming is allowed.
Where in Vietnam is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any listing. You are solely responsible for the content you provide.
3. Images & Media
We encourage all listings to include high-quality images. By uploading images, you confirm that:
- You own or have permission to use the imagery.
- You grant Where in Vietnam the right to display, edit, and use these images across our platforms (directory, social, newsletters) for promotional and editorial purposes.
- We may compress or reformat your images for optimal display.
4. Plans & Payments
We offer 1-month and 12-month plans. All pricing is listed in VND. Payment must be made in full before a listing is published.
- No refunds are issued for early termination or unused time.

If your listing is part of a content package, your timeline and deliverables will be detailed separately.
5. Promotion & Visibility
We do our best to support visibility through our platform, including SEO optimization, social media, and newsletter integrations. However, we do not guarantee a specific number of views, clicks, or conversions.
Where in Vietnam reserves the right to feature, highlight, or promote listings at its discretion.
6. Edits & Updates
You can request updates to your listing at any time during your active period. All edits will be reviewed by our team before going live.
- We reserve the right to edit listings for clarity, formatting, or branding consistency.
- You may not include external links that violate our brand values or lead to misleading content.
7. Code of Conduct
All directory users — whether listed or browsing — agree to treat other community members respectfully. We do not tolerate abuse, spam, harassment, or exploitation of the platform.
If we suspect a business or user is violating this code, we reserve the right to remove the listing or block access without refund or warning.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that:
- Violates these Terms
- Harms the reputation or mission of Where in Vietnam
- Receives consistent, verified complaints from users
We may do so without notice or refund. In most cases, we will attempt to resolve issues collaboratively first.
9. Liability
Where in Vietnam is not liable for:
- The performance, quality, or customer experience of any listed business
- Errors or omissions in listings
- Damages, losses, or disputes arising from use of or reliance on the Directory
Users engage with businesses at their own discretion.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Directory constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
