Cydny is a business strategist who ran a seven-figure business in experiential marketing in the USA. Her business involved conceptualizing entertaining campaigns to garner offline visibility to boost sales - hosting upwards of 300+ events a month.
She has seamlessly transferred her understanding of hands-on marketing to the virtual realm, as exemplified by her endeavors in Vietnam. Here, she directs her efforts towards assembling and developing a proficient team to fulfill our mission across the country and beyond.
Dana is a brand enthusiast. She built her career over the last decade working as a Strategist and and Client Service lead at international Brand Identity design agencies in the UK and Singapore (with a speciality in Packaging and Innovation). Recent international clients include Heineken, Diageo and Unilever plus countless other smaller guys.
Her expertise is identifying the intersection of consumer insight and brand opportunity, developing compelling visual and verbal storytelling, cultivating partnerships and delivering results.

WHERE IN HANOI & HCMC launched the Peoples Picks Awards: a 3 month public voting campaign to choose the ‘Best Of’ in business in over 60 categories and 3000+ community votes.
All winners were announced in a 100+pg guide. Nominated businesses were offered feature opportunities to support the free campaign and up level their brand awareness throughout the year.
We received over 2000+ downloads and continue to receive 100+ weekly. Head around Hanoi and HCMC and you’ll see finalist stickers proudly featured in shop windows too!
What better way to celebrate Where in HCMC’s 10k follower milestone than with an epic giveaway valued at over $1,000 VND. This drove major traffic to Maia’s socials and engagement was through the roof. It was so successful they contributed the highly-soughted after Grand Prize for HCMC’s Holiday Raffle.
We partnered with a Hanoi restauranteur to open up a new small plates gastro concept lounge/restaurant. Where Businesses Grow supported marketing consulting for two years from inception, planning, launch and beyond.

Where In Vietnam Partnered with the wonderful ENV. Our collaborative guide to build awareness around animal protection and wildlife around Vietnam. All proceeds went to ENV raising $350 at launch.
This was a custom 29-page guide that included a 4 week campaign in both Hanoi & HCMC utilizing our Instagram accounts, Kofi website, and email marketing and continues to be available today.
Each year Where in Vietnam hosts seasonal markets in Hanoi and HCMC. Market vendors are curated and experiences are designed to be beyond a standard market: bringing the entire community together around live music, workshops, silent auctions, raffles and more. These events aim to bring online communities into the offline world so everyone can meet! Hosting over 30 vendors and 1000+ in attendees.
Where Businesses Grow first came to life as an in-person Marketing Workshop & Networking event.
We expanded through its wild success. We’ve also hosted Women’s Networking events in Hanoi.
